When my 53 lb Sulcata tortoise didn’t eat for two days, I knew it was time to get him checked out. It was truly unlike Freddy to miss a meal so when he passed on his favorite meal cantaloup, I quickly made him an appointment to see the doc. The doctor was truly fascinated with Freddy has he became a fan favorite to all of the on lookers. It was the biggest tortoise that the staff at the Animal Care Clinic on Holland Road had ever seen! Freddy was a little dehydrated and doing well. Not bad for a tortoise that will grow to 150 lbs and live 100 years!! It never gets boring in the Cephus household!!
