IT1 Kenneth Dunson was scheduled to get married this Sept. has found out (after a yr of misdiagnoses) that he has stage 4 stomach cancer. The cancer has spread to his colon and his esophagus. When Tracie Stern brought Daniela in my studio in tears, I knew God called upon me to capture their special day. As a retired CPO, it was a “no-brainer” to help my shipmate in this desperate time of need. Please continue to keep Daniela and Kenneth in your prayers. Special thanks to Maya Couture, Valerie Tedesco, Elizabeth Paschall, Tracie Stern and Sara Busby for donating your services. Daniela and Kenneth, may God continue to strengthen your bodies and minds and grant you the best that life has to offer!!

Wow!!!!!  What a way to start of the wedding season with a wonderful winter wedding!!!  It was truly an honor to be Stephanie & Shawn’s photographer on their magical wedding day at the Norfolk Marriott Hotel.   Kudos to Brian Harvey and his awesome staff for doing such an amazing job!  Special thanks to Daevid from Daevid’s for his vision and creativity in the floral decor, Jeremy from Blue Steel Pro Lighting, and Emily from Patti Cakes.  Stephanie and Shawn, your wedding was one of the most amazing weddings that I have ever been a part of.  Thank you for this INCREDIBLE opportunity!!!!!  Have fun snowboarding!!!!!!!

On October 25th, I had the honor of photographing the wedding of my dear friends Diana & Pedro.  Due to military committment, Diana and Pedro never had the “ultimate” wedding until now.  And of course, your truly was there to capture it!!!  The wedding was truly amazing thanks to Char from Char’s Floral with her incredible flowers and Maya for providing the dynamic fashions.  Malissa from CMT Eventplanning. did a “fab” job coordinating this remarkable union.  Special thanks to the entire team at Maya Couture, family and friends for coming out and making Diana & Pedro’s day very special!!!!!!!!

On Sept 5th, I had the honor of photographing the wedding of Colby and Hunter at the Norfolk Yacht & Country Club. The wedding was simply fabulous thanks to makeup extraordinaire Kim Wadsworth. Kim was also responsible for the day of coordination which was done impeccably. Special thanks to Catering Director John Fowler and Food & Beverage Director Everett Ferguson for doing an amazing job with the unbelievable culinary delights!! Colby and Hunter, thanks for trusting me to capture the essence of your special day. I look forward to the trash the dress session on Thursday!!!!!!!!!!!

On September 4th, I had the honor and distinction of photographing the wedding of Adrielle and Delmus Coley.  Adrielle is the Sales Catering Manager at the Founder’s Inn & Spa, whom I worked with on numerous occasions with her fabulous brides.  This time it was her day as wedding coordinator Charalese Gore ensured that every detail was met and exceeded.     Kudos to Chef Eric and a  special thanks to Annabel’s with Atlantic Rental, Daevid’s Floral, Lynn Dula, Isha Foss, Blue Steel Pro Lighting, opera extraordinaire Aundi many more who contributed to their special day!!   You all rocked it!!  Check out  their love story slideshow below!!
