The funniest thing happened to me while photographing the Redskins/Eagles game at FedEx field yesterday. GM George Allen, former Governor of the Commonwealth of VA (1994-1998) looked at me and through me a pass.   As I caught the football, he walked over to me and said nice catch.   We chit chatted for about 1o minutes while the crowd grew larger and larger.  People were probably wondering who is this guy “chopping it up” with the GM of the Redskins.  At the end of the conversation, we exchanged business card and told me to call him personally if I ever needed anything.  Stay tuned to my upcoming article in Hampton Roads Magazine, “One on One” with GM George Allen. Check out Ashley and Ryan’s “ultimate love story” on a soaked and muddy field at Kellam High School. Ryan, who coaches baseball for Kellam High School, wanted to do something with a baseball theme. “This was one of the most compelling “trash the dress” sessions ever”, Mark Ridout, Award-winning Photographer, Toronto Canada.

Indian designer and publisher Sachi Sood and Keith Cephus

Sachi Sood, owner of Partyland, selected my photo to be on the cover of her book, Indian Weddings!!!!!! The photo was taken at Reema and Jigar’s “Bollywood Wedding” at the Founders Inn & Spa in Virginia Beach. Sachi is one of the sought after Indian decor designers on the east coast. Here are a few photos from a recent hair shoot with top stylist Lakisha-Quamiley Bell and makeup artist extraordinaire Nate Whitfield.  These photos will be submitted to some of the top hair magazines in the country.  Whenever I’m photographing beauty, I try to capture it in a way that is pleasing to the eye.  Lakisha, great job once again and I look forward in shooting more of your lovely models in the days ahead!!
