Here are a few recent photos of Kavita and Raj’s incredible engagement session.   The lovely couple will be exchanging vows at the Norfolk Marriott in March 2011.  The amazing Elizabeth Paschall gave Kavita this awesome makeover!!  Special thanks to my apprentice Jason for assisting with lighting.  Kavita and Raj, thanks for this incredible experience.  The both of you were AMAZING!!!!  Best is yet to come!

Indian designer and publisher Sachi Sood and Keith Cephus

Sachi Sood, owner of Partyland, selected my photo to be on the cover of her book, Indian Weddings!!!!!! The photo was taken at Reema and Jigar’s “Bollywood Wedding” at the Founders Inn & Spa in Virginia Beach. Sachi is one of the sought after Indian decor designers on the east coast. On October 11th, I had the opportunity to photograph the wedding of Shital and Vimal at the Newport News Marriott.  The wedding was truly amazing, thanks to Allison and Bobbie and their incredible staff at the Marriott.      Katen Shah from Elegant Designz did an amazing job with the styling and decor.   The ballroom was truly breathtaking!!    I just want to thank all hands involved in making Shital and Vimal’s day so special.  Mad props to my assistant Marco for withstanding the 17 hr “Bollywood Wedding.”  I would also like to thank Mr & Mrs. Patel for the gracious hospitality.  Shital and Vimal, the both of you were truly amazing!!!!  Thanks for allowing me the opportunity to photograph your special day!!   Check out the slideshow below!!

Here are a few keepers from a recent e-session with Richa and Thomas.  The lovely couple met on the campus of William and Mary and thought it was an ideal backdrop for their photoshoot.  Their cultural wedding will take place on July 4th at the Marriott in City Center where there will be plenty of fireworks on display!!

Here are some photos of a recent engagement session with my lovely couple Reema and Jigar.  I met the both of them for the first time and we truly had an awesome vibe.   I am sooooooo excited about shooting their upcoming wedding in May at the Founder’s Inn & Spa.   Reema was simply gorgeous.  And when Kim Wadsworth worked her magic, Reema looked like a cover model!!  Jigar was handsome as well with a cool D.C. swagger.  Jig, thanks for being so cool and allowing me to do my thing.

On September 22, I had the honor of photographing Raj and Namrata’s special day at the Botanical Gardens. It was truly an amazing wedding thanks to Valerie Young and her awesome team at the Botanical Gardens. After photographing Raj and Namrata’s engagement session on two occasions, we shared great chemistry and had an awesome time getting to know one another. Four hundred of the their closest family member and friends, from as far as Africa, came to witness the union of the lovely couple.
