A destination paradise!!! That’s all I can say about Mesita and Durante’s unbelievable wedding at the Excellence Playa Mujeres in Cancun. Having just done a fabulous destination wedding in San Diego and still on a high, here I am in Mexico, meeting Mesita and Durante for the very first time. Minutes after we met, I began shooting this lovely couple in every crack and crevice in this stunning adult resort. And to share this experience with my lovely wife Nadine made it ever so special. Mesita and Durante, words cannot express my gratitude to you, Durante and your families. Your hospitality exceeded my expectations tenfold. Leah and Steve are very special.  We met in Richmond on our way to Bermuda for a fabulous engagement session.  By the end of the day,  I captured their essence in Washington, DC and Manhattan, only to photograph their stunning wedding in San Diego, CA.  To put it in retrospect, I travelled over 3,000 miles capturing the soul of this lovely couple.  It has been an unforgettable experience.  Leah and Steve, thank you following me into your lives to capture the essence of your love.  Have fun in Beverly Hills and I will see you soon!!!

On June 6th I had the honor of photographing the wedding of Natasha and Danny. Danny, the son of my dear friend Cathy Carter, the proud owner of East Beach Catering, called me a year ago and told me to save the date. The wedding was truly amazing, thanks to wedding coordinator Jennifer La Londe and her team. Every timeline was met and exceeded. East Beach Catering provided the gourmet delights. And if you haven’t tried Cathy’s signature shrimp and grits, you don’t know what you are missing. Nobody does it better!! The fabulous decor was provided by Annabell for Atlantic Rental and the flowers Debbie Pence of Fluttering Flowers. Wedding Cake by Green Leaf and the ice carving by Ice Art. Natasha’s lovely gown was provided by Maya of Maya Couture. Natasha and Danny, thanks for being soooooo cool. Hope you’re having a great time on your honeymoon!!

I’m headed to San Diego tomorrow to photograph another fabulous wedding with another fabulous couple. Leah and Steve have been so gracious to me over the past year and a half and now it’s my turn to return the favor. I will be photographing their wedding on the backdrop of the luxurious U.S. Grant Resort in downtown San Diego. I will keep you posted and blogging early and often!!
