Last week, I had the opportunity to photograph the bridal session of Abbey Pegram.  Abbey works for CBN, who handles the Major Donor’s Ministry Dept.  Shooting Abbey was a reunion of sorts as I photographed her older brother Josh’s wedding about 12 years ago.  Abbey, assisted with her personal stylist and mom, was truly stunning.  Abbey, thanks for thinking of me to shoot your bridal session.  Here are just a few of my favorites….

Every dad lives vicariously through their kids. I’m no different. Except my son is a far better athlete at 10 then I was at 15. Leading 10-0 with 1 second left in the half, Brandon caught a 40 yard pass and broke three tackles for a touchdown. At 2-1, the Redskins have outscored their last two opponents 54-6. I don’t know where he got his talent, but this kid can play!!  Coach Keith is very proud..  Check out the video clip of his touchdown!!

On September 20th, I had the honor of photographing the wedding of Serena and Shay.  Prior to the wedding, I had an opportunity to photograph this lovely couple in downtown Chicago.   Chicago, the second best city in the world, only behind NYC, was the perfect backdrop to photograph Serena and Shay.  We started on Michigan Ave and ended up in the historic Wrigley Field.  How cool is that!  Only to follow with an awesome bridal session and not so bad wedding picts.  Serena and Shay, thank you for hospitality and friendship.  I truly had an amazing time photographing the both of you.  Here's a cool slideshow that tells the complete story.  Hope you're having fun on your honeymoon!!

When editor Diane Rice told me that my wedding was going to be featured in her magazine in the fall, I was truly overjoyed!  Shooting a wedding on Bourbon Street was one of the most exciting weddings I have ever photographed.   Heather and Rob, thanks for this great opportunity.   I would also like to take the time to thank my publicist and dear friend Jean Vinson for all her hard work in getting my work featured in wedding magazines abroad.

When I photographed Melissa’s bridal portrait and her engagement session on the same day, I didn’t know what to expect.  Usually, I space the two session out several weeks apart.  But I was totally thrilled with the energy level in Melissa and Eric, which resulted in some stunning photos.  Melissa and Eric will be tying the knot on October 11th at St. Paul Catholic Church in Portsmouth.  Melissa and Eric, here are a few of my favorites.  I’m looking forward to your special day!!
