On July 26th, I had the honor of photographing the wedding of Pam & Rick's wedding at 3rd Baptist Church in Portsmouth.  The reception took place at the Portsmouth Renaissance, where 500 of their closest friends and family took part in the festive occasion.  Pam's sister Patricia, the former Mrs. Virginia queen and wife of football superstar Emmitt Smith, pampered her big sister as if she were preparing to run for Mrs. Universe!   Pam was simply drop dead gorgeous!!!  Special thanks to wedding coordinator's M. On July 19, I had the honor of shooting the wedding of Jamie and Derek.  It was truly an amazing wedding!  Jamie and Derek’s special day went on without a hitch thanks to awesome family members and the staff of the Renaissance.  Paul, I hope you enjoyed the stellar cigar I gave you.   It was awesome talking to you and hearing about how you make things happen!!  Jamie and Derek are truly in great hands!  Jamie and Derek, thanks for trusting me with your special day.  Here are a few of my favs while you enjoy the rest of your honeymoon!!

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing the engagement session of Jessica and Mike.  Jessica is the Director of Catering at the Cavalier Golf & Yacht Club and Mike is a professional skateboarder.   The lovely couple wanted something fun and edgy for their engagement party this week.   Jessica and Mike, I truly had a blast.   Tell your beatiful sister thanks for all of her help.  She was truly phenominal!!  Mike, call me when you are ready for the skateboard shoot.  I can’t wait for that one.  Enjoy the picks!!

Here’s a recent e-ssession at the Founders Inn, located in Virginia Beach..  My couple wanted to go totally vintage because they are big fans of Marilyn Monroe and Jimmy Dean.  So they wanted their photoshoot to give a vintage flavor.  I was truly amazed at the lovely images that were produced from this session.  Brandon and Kelli, this is just the beginning!!
