Amanda & Mike E-session

This week, I had an awesome engagement session with Amanda and Mike at the MacArthur skating rink in downtown Norfolk. Amanda, a world-class ice-skater, rented the rink for two hours while we photographed and had a great time. My assistant Sean was able to capture live video for your viewing pleasures. The lovely couple will be exchanging vows in May at the Founders Inn.  Amanda and Mike, thanks for a great experience. I look forward in shooting your special day in May!!

Laura & Scott, Hilton Garden Inn, Suffolk

Right before the holidays, I had an awesome engagement session with Laura and Scott. Laura wanted to do something fun and creative. That’s why she wanted to do it at the Hilton Garden Inn, located in Suffolk. We truly had a great time and a great experience. Laura and Scott are truly an amazing couple with so much in common. I think Laura is a bigger football fan than Scott. I had to hurry up so she wouldn’t miss the game!! Laura and Scott, thanks for a great time. I look forward in shooting your big day in Feb!! Sarah & Kyle, Beth El Synagogue

On November 10th, I had the honor of photographing the wedding of Sarah and Kyle Harman. The lovely couple exchanged their vows at Beth El Synagogue in the Ghent section of Norfolk. The wedding was one of the most fabulous weddings that I’ve ever been a part of. The menus were made out of edible chocolate and were masterfully presented at each table setting. Wedding coordinator Pearl Taylor orchestrated this fabulous affair like clockwork. Each timeline was executed in impeccable fashion which enabled Sarah and Kyle to enjoy their special day stress free. Florist extraordinaire Leslie Hartig of Leslie Hartig Floral Designs did an amazing job with the centerpieces, bouquets and show pieces. Leslie, who has decorated the White House for the first lady, Laura Bush, is truly a visionary. The cake was done superbly by Myra of “Cakes by Myra.” Makeup artist Kim Wadsworth had the honor of pampering Sarah with a fabulous makeover. I just want to thank Mr. & Mrs. Caplan for putting together an amazing event. Andrew, thanks for a great rehearsal dinner at the Hilton. Your NYC guests arrived safely and had a great time. Sarah and Kyle, thank you for allowing me to photograph your special day. The both of you are truly blessed to have such great parents and super cool friends.
