Lydia: The Perfect Model Bride

Here are a few shots from a recent shoot last week. Lydia will be featured on the cover of the Jan issue of SeaSettings Magazine. Nakia Israel, the publisher of the magazine discovered Lydia and David’s wedding on my blog. She called me the next day and ask me to contact Lydia to see if she would be interested in shooting for the cover. After twisting her arm, she finally agreed to do the shoot. Celebrity stylist Patric Antonio flew down from Houston to do Lydia’s hair, while Shauna did the masterful makeover. Pastor Jeneen McBath, a fashion affacionado, was the fashion stylist, along with her assistant Vickie. Lydia is truly an amazing woman. She’s a teacher, a mentor, a motivator and a role model. She’s a stellar athlete and a gritty soccer coach. In fact, her team is one of the top ranked teams going into the playoffs this week. She loves the Lord and loves being married to her prince David. After the shoot, she declined to have dinner with the team, including mom, because David cooked a romantic dinner for her.

Brandon’s 60 yd. touchdown run ignited the Vikings to a 15-8 win over the Packers at Birdneck Elementary. Brandon had 80 yds of total offensive, including a key interception in the fourth quarter which sealed the win. The offensive was ignited by new quarterback JD, who runs the option like Randle Cunningham. Runningbacks Shultz and River made key runs to keep the chains moving. “I credit the whole team for playing with heart,” said Coach Keith. Our defense all season has played gritty football. We are going to need it against the 7-0 Redskins next week.”

Laurie & William, Broad Bay Colony

On October 20th, I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Laurie and William Bunn. Their wedding took take on William sister’s estate in Broadbay Colony. The lovely flowers and decor was done elegantly by Laurie’s mother-in-law. Laurie and William were such a stunning couple who photographed extremely well. One of the highlights of the wedding was photographing all of the lovely children in the lives of William and Laurie. Frank and Vince from “Blazing Hot Disc Jockeys” provided just enought r&b with a twist of rock to keep the crowd moving and grooving. Laurie and William, thank you a great experience. I wish the both of you eternal happiness and love forever…

Frances & Robert, The Lesner Inn

On Oct 14th, I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Frances and Robert. The lovely couple tied the knot at the Lesner Inn, located in Virginia Beach. Amy and her wonderful staff did an outstanding job decorating the room in a 5-star fashion. The highlight of the evening was when the the honor guard came out with their stylish Scottish kilts and bagpipe, while Frances and Robert were introduced at the reception. Frances and Robert, thanks for sharing your special day with me. I wish the both of you many years of happiness together.
