Earlier this week, I had to honor of photographing the engagement session of Lydia and David. After shooting Lydia’s stunning bridal session earlier this month, I knew I had to make a bigger statement on her engagement shoot. David, the consummate gentleman, openend the door for his princess like clockwork. A musical aficionado, David stays busy directing the musical team at Calvary Revival Church. Lydia was stunning, dressed in a white linen outfit, ideal for the beach backdrop. Once again, another amazing photoshoot!! Lydia and Dave, thanks for being such great subjects to shoot. Now all we have to do is find a magazine to feature this amazing session. Trust me, that won’t be difficult. I look forward in shooting your wedding on 8 Sept!!!

On Aug 11, I had the honor of photographing Jonee’s Sweet 16 birthday bash at the Renaissance in Portsmouth. This party was something I never experienced. It started off as a wedding, where Jonee came down the isle in a stunning gown and veil. Then came a ring exchange where Jonee was given a 1 kt. diamond ring from her mother. Moments later, it manifested into a spiritual church service in celebration of Jonee’s purity. The event went off without a hitch thanks to Lauren Peoples, Catering Manager at the Renaissance. Kudos to Ollie Sims and Denise Russell for doing a masterful job in organizing the event to perfection. The room was decorated in shear elegance thanks to Star Whittaker from the Touch of Elegance.
