Earlier this week, I had to honor of photographing the engagement session of Lydia and David. After shooting Lydia’s stunning bridal session earlier this month, I knew I had to make a bigger statement on her engagement shoot. David, the consummate gentleman, openend the door for his princess like clockwork. A musical aficionado, David stays busy directing the musical team at Calvary Revival Church. Lydia was stunning, dressed in a white linen outfit, ideal for the beach backdrop. Once again, another amazing photoshoot!! Lydia and Dave, thanks for being such great subjects to shoot. Now all we have to do is find a magazine to feature this amazing session. Trust me, that won’t be difficult. I look forward in shooting your wedding on 8 Sept!!!

On August 25, I had the honor of photographing the wedding of Kiersten and Kenny at the Founders Inn. The wedding took place in the outdoor gardens, while the reception was held in the elegant ballroom. Sarah Siegrist and wedding coordinator Michelle Kilgore did a masterful job in meeting the needs of my fabulous couple. Michelle’s timeline was flawless, as every detail was excecuted in flawless fashion. Michelle’s assistant Sarah did an amazing job making sure all guests were having a great time and glasses of cheers were never half full!! Kudos to Mark and Robin, Kiersten’s lovely parents, who gave me the opportunity to be a part of Kiersten and Kenny’s lives. Mark and Robin, thank you for being so awesome!! On August 18th, I had the distinct pleasure to go to Boston and photograph the wedding of Andelson & Jocelyn. The wedding took place at Jubilee South, while the reception was held at the luxurious Lantana in Randolph, MA. Prior to the wedding, I was able to catch a Redsox game with my friend Jeff at the historical Fenway Park. The wedding was truly fabulous as we photographed the formals at JFK library. Wedding coordinator extraordinaire Karine did a phenominal job with the execution of the timeline and making sure everyone was on point. The entire staff at the Lantana did a superb job making sure the food and drinks came early and often. Jocelyn and Andelson, thank you for your hospitality and friendship. Although we just met, it was though I had known you a lifetime. You really made me feel and home with your kindness and thoughtfulness. On Aug 11, I had the honor of photographing Jonee’s Sweet 16 birthday bash at the Renaissance in Portsmouth. This party was something I never experienced. It started off as a wedding, where Jonee came down the isle in a stunning gown and veil. Then came a ring exchange where Jonee was given a 1 kt. diamond ring from her mother. Moments later, it manifested into a spiritual church service in celebration of Jonee’s purity. The event went off without a hitch thanks to Lauren Peoples, Catering Manager at the Renaissance. Kudos to Ollie Sims and Denise Russell for doing a masterful job in organizing the event to perfection. The room was decorated in shear elegance thanks to Star Whittaker from the Touch of Elegance.

Last week, I had an amazing photoshoot with Taylor. Taylor is a 16 yr. old dancer who dances professionally. Lara Bush, Hampton Roads premier model and cousin of Taylor, asked me to take a few shots of the budding star. Here are just a few of my favs!!
