Last week I had a sensational bridal session with Lydia McBath. Lydia was assisted by her mom, Pastor Jeneen McBath, with the details and fashions. Celebrity makeup artist Patric’ Antonio flew in from Houston just to give Lydia a stunning makeover. He was also responsible for her amazing hairstyle. Ironically, I photographed the McBath’s 25 year vow renewals and now I will be photographing the wedding of their little princess. Lydia & David will be exchanging vows on Sept 8th at Calvary Revival Church.

On July 22nd, I had the pleasure of photographing Rachel & Aaron’s wedding at the Botanical Gardens. Marcia Riley and her staff did an amazing job with the overall planning and details. Their reception was showcased at the Ramada Inn at the oceanfront. The lovely couple will be honeymooning in Naples, where the water is electric blue and the sand a soft pink. Aaron wore a stunning white on white tux that exuded richness and high fashion. Rachel’s amazing gown was purchased at Tiffany’s and assisted by fashion afficionado Maya Warburton. Rachel and Aaron, thank you for trusting me in photographing your special day. I truly had a great time creating some fun and exciting photos. Here are a few of my favs!!

I’ve added a new “press” gallery on my website so my clients can see why brides change their dates and all the blablabla about Keith Cephus. For the past two decades, my work has been published nationally and internationally in fashion and bridal magazines across the country. My clients include: Paul Mitchell Systems, Clairol, Revlon Loreal, Essations, Barry Fletcher Products, Essence Mag, Upscale, Jet, SalonSense, just to name a few. My photos have been featured in magazines such as Hampton Roads Magazine, Vow, Hampton Roads Wedding Guide, The Virginian Pilot, Premier Bride, Sea Settings Destinations and American Bride. Our objective is to get into the celebrity wedding arena and become one of the sought after wedding photographers in this elite class. We feel that our style will give us that opportunity. Getting published give a photographer instant credibility as well as national recognition. I have incorporated a publicist on my staff to keep our work out there in the public eye. Shayla Moore-Prince will have the ultimate challenge to take our vision to the next level. I am truly blessed to have her on my team. Coming off of an incredible month of June and with two weeks of rest, July 14th was my next big wedding. Sherilyn and Brian, Hampton University sweethearts, tied the knot at a place they know all too well, Hampton University. It was a fabulous wedding, coordinated by Melody Austin and Star Whittaker. The reception took place at the luxurious Hampton Convention Center in Hampton. Brian and Sherilyn made a big splash at the reception, displaying a series of 11×14 wall portraits at the entrance of their reception area. The guest were mesmerized by the content of the portraits!! The portraits conveyed passion, intimacy, excitement and fashion. I must admit, it was a pretty good feeling! Brian and Sherry, thanks for having me as your photographer and friend. We truly had a great run together. I wish the both of you the very best in your endeavors together!!

On June 30th, I had the distinct pleasure of photographing Deborah and Shannon’s wedding at the Founders Inn. Having photographed 10 weddings already in the month of June and fatigue becoming evident, I wanted to finished strong. Strong I did, giving my couple all they could handle with my exquisite poses overlooking this amazing backdrop. The Founders staff once again did an amazing job ensuring nothing less than excellence. Deborah and Shannon, thanks for allowing me to photograph your special day. I wish the both of you the very best that life has to offer!!
